How much does interior painting cost?
A single bedroom typically bids between $250–$500 (walls only) and $400–$800 (walls, ceiling, and trim). Standard prep is filling small nail holes, light sanding, and taping. Significant patching, wallpaper removal, lead remediation, or skim-coating is extra work — describe what you need so bids include it. doBid does not accept jobs involving lead paint removal (a licensed-trade activity).
Can painters do cabinets and trim?
Yes. Cabinet painting is a specialty though — describe it in your post (number of doors, drawer fronts, sprayed vs brushed) so bidders can quote accurately. Cabinet jobs typically run $1,200–$4,000 depending on kitchen size.
